In My Mailbox Vlog - (10/2/11)

In My Mailbox is a meme hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren. It is a list of any of the books you may have received in the past week from bookstores, libraries, authors/publishers, trades, etc.

I am on a book buying ban, but I made a few exceptions in the last three weeks...one being that books bought at signings do not count.

THE VIDEO PORTION OF THIS VLOG REFUSED TO UPLOAD TO YOUTUBE IN A TIMELY MANNER. IT WILL BE UP LATER WHEN I GET OUT OF WORK.

Old follower stopping by.
Wow, The Night Circus. Hearing a lot about it and wanting it too.

I'm not sure I have come across The Shattering. I get so confused in similar titles like "Shatter Me" "Shattered Souls" and others. I can't recall which one is which.

Kero - Thanks for stopping by! I've read some of The Night Circus and it's really good. It's an adult title, but has a lot of YA appeal. And I get confused on books too, especially when there are so many similar titles floating around. The Shattering is a mystery (I think, haven't read it yet) about a girl who is told her brother's suicide wasn't really a suicide.

I'm so excited you got to meet Laini!!! That's so awesome! I'll be going to her signing here soon. Or at least hope to. You never know what could come up.

I'm so jealous you won the Relic Master series! LOVE the maps inside! Awesome bunch of books!

Michelle - I am wicked excited about the win. I love how the maps connect to one another too. And I HAD to buy all those books. Not only are they fantastic, but they're signed!

Candace - Laini was so, so, so nice :) I hadn't finished The Daughter of Smoke & Bone when I went, so I didn't come prepared with lots of questions or anything, but it was awesome. The bookstore was really cute too.

BrittLit - I need to remember to let you know about all the good signings in the area. I'll send you an email to get you into our little little group, so you know about everything :)
