Here's a snippet of the interview with the cover designers:
"'Shatter Me' is different from all other dystopian books because its barren, isolated and repressed landscape is only a piece of the story," they told Hollywood Crush, via email. "It's also about love, self-discovery and personal power. We don’t want to give too much of the story away here, but that last word, power, was our inspiration for both the cover art and the design."Visit Hollywood Crush to read the rest and read Tahereh Mafi's thoughts on the cover.
And here's the very eye-catching cover
What are your thoughts? Do you like it, love it, or is it just bleh?
The cover is absolutely nothing like I would have pictured, I like it and think it represents the book well. Plus, I have a feeling that the finished copy is going to be all kinds of shiny. And I like shiny.
