Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Picture Explosion

I was on vacation with my family over the past week and on our last day in Florida, we went to Universal Studio's Islands of Adventure, where The Wizarding World of Harry Potter opened up last year.

The place is amazing! I felt like I walked into the Hogsmeade from the books and movies.
The HP area of the park was packed with people. The first store I went into was Zonko's Joke Shop/Honeydukes Sweet Shop.
There was a huge line for Ollivander's, so we didn't wait to go there. I wanted to and my youngest brother wanted to, but my dad was bored out of his mind (he's not an HP fan), so we had to move it along. The Three Broomsticks was a little park restaurant and we went very early, so we didn't go in, but I did get a butterbeer and it was delicious!
We also saw the Hogwart's Express right when we walked in and I wish I could have hopped on and took a trip to Hogwarts.
The oldest of my younger brothers, John, and me
Then, we ventured up to Hogwarts itself, where we walked through the dark castle hallways, saw many talking portraits (including the Fat Lady), Dumbledore, Harry, Ron, Hermione, and even the Sorting Hat, before we went on the ride inside the castle.

I could have easily lived in that part of the park. I would have been in perfectly happy spending the entire day at Hogwarts and Hogsmeade, but the near 2 hours we spent there was more than enough for my dad. I took a ton of videos while I was there, but I'm too lazy/busy to edit it all together at the moment. I plan on doing it sometime in the future though.

If you ever have the chance, you MUST visit the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. It was the most fulfilling experience for this Harry Potter fanatic and I hope to visit again in the future. If you do go though, make sure you bring a lot of extra money because the prices are outrageous. My mom bought my youngest brother a box of Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans and a Chocolate Frog and it cost $23. They jack up the prices, but they know people are going to spend the money regardless. Two butterbeers were $22 so be prepared to drop more than a few bucks if you go. Trust me though, it's so worth it.

*I also promised a little surprise for Victoria Schwab and this was it:
The Near Witch took a trip to Hogwarts and Hogsmeade and I'm pretty sure she had a blast :)

Wow, I'm SUPREMELY jealous right now, lol. I'm glad to hear the butterbeers are pretty good, and you know, next time you should pack me in with your books? ;)

I really want to visit Olivander's as well, but those pics are still awesome!

Can you believe I live two hours away from this and have not once been able to go?! Two hours! It's ridiculous that I haven't gone yet! Mmm, butter beer.

Hey, I'll be there at BEA for Thursday and Friday, so I'll keep an eye out for ya! I just posted a vlog yesterday so hopefully it will help others recognize me as well (don't laugh at my lame video editing). :)
