Nine Years Later and We'll Never Forget

It's been 9 years since the Twin Towers fell in NYC. 9 years and it's impossible for any American to forget where they were in the exact moment they heard about it. I was in middle school. In my advisory. I remember my teacher Mr. Cushman telling us just what had happened and none of us really understanding the gravity of the situation at the time. Later on that day, I understood it and I will never forget it.
I'd like to take a moment to remember all the people who lost their lives that day and to all the families, friends, colleagues, and even acquaintance who will forever be affected. My prayers are and will always be with you.

It's easy to get caught up in the stories on TV about this person or that person, but to not truly feel that connection of knowing just how terrifying and devastating 9/11/01 was. If you have the time, head over to author Meg Cabot's website and read what she wrote about that day. It had me in tears, but it really makes you look at 9/11 on a much more personal level.

thanks for sharing. might i suggest checking out the post on my blog. It's down one, but it shows a book that I would like people to think of reading.

Thank you for posting this, Nikki. I will never forget that day, or how it forever altered the lives of so many people I know and love, and even those I don't. Forever in our hearts...

Thank you for stopping by. That day will forever be ingrained in the memories of so many Americans, as it should be and I think every little show of American solidarity helps keep those we lost alive in memory.
