Description (Taken from Goodreads)
Everyone who's anyone in New York City is suffering from post-college-application cabin fever and it's time to run a little wild! Could it be that Serena is smitten with Blair's stepbrother or will the Fashion Week parties pull her away from any attempt at true love? Dan and Vanessa are mad about each other and pursuing their creative dreams -- but be careful of what you wish for. Nate hits an all-time low as Blair's Yale interview with a tall, handsome alum takes an unexpected turn and Jenny makes a new friend who gets a little too close for comfort. And just who is going to get into college early acceptance? Wintertime has never been hotter in NYC as things steam up all over Fifth Avenue.
February is a time of love and heartbreak. Valentine’s Day is an important day for any girl and Manhattan’s elite high school students are no different. The rich kids like to drown their sorrows in a stiff drink and a great party…or they just go to Fashion Week in Bryant Park and attend the best afterparties with famous people galore. Love, sex, and new relationships abound in the 4th installment of the Gossip Girl series and you can be sure that the rumor mill is overflowing during this season of love.

Because I’m Worth It picks up right where the last one left off, except Blair and Serena aren’t as close as they used to be. That’s due in large part to the fact that Serena is now dating Aaron, Blair’s adorable stepbrother. She’s in love, while everyone else seems to be looking for the elusive feeling. Jenny isn’t a stranger to love, but her split with Nate has her hating the subject. Blair is still not over Nate herself, but she is more willing to approach new relationships. She finds the Cary Grant to her Audrey Hepburn; An older, gorgeous friend of her dads who also happens to be a married man.

Nate doesn’t seem to mind the single life, as long as he has his weed, but getting busted changes that. Rehab for the rich and famous leads Nate to Georgina Spark, a gorgeous heiress with a love for drugs. Love may not be on Nate’s mind, but what’s under Georgie’s shorts definitely is. Dan also doesn’t seem to mind finding out what’s under Vanessa’s shorts (or pants) and the two of them appear to be living in bliss, but it’s obvious that that cannot last.

Sex, drugs, poetry, and rehab make for one fun and funny installment in the Gossip Girl series. This one is by far my favorite so far. Blair actually becomes a human being and shows a little heart. I also actually like Jenny in this one and her innocence, compared with every other characters lack of innocence, is sweet. The Fashion Week backdrop is perfect and allows Serena to shine as usual. I don’t think I can dislike her at all. All of Serena’s scenes are so enjoyable and just make me smile. It’s unfortunate that Nate has absolutely no depth, but hopefully rehab does him good and he comes out with a little more character. Dan isn’t completely whiny and depressing in this one and his and Vanessa’s sudden success is a nice change of pace to their storyline.

Opening line: February is like the girl at that party I threw when my parents took a “second honeymoon” in Cabo last week (I know: sad).

Favorite line (It’s probably kind of wrong of me to think this line is hilarious, but I couldn’t help but laugh out loud when I read it): “My name is Hannah Koto and I took Ecstasy before school two weeks ago and got caught because I laid down on the floor to feel the rug in my trig class.”
My favorite in the series so far

This was my least favourite cover of the entire series, but one of my favourite books. I, personally, prefer the series, possibly because I read it before I ever watched it haha Great review! :)
